A Venetian dream! The colours of the lagoon, the textures of the buildings… Venice lives in my mind almost like Disneyland; it’s like nowhere else on Earth! Full of surprising details at every turn - the ribbons on the packages of cookies, and the beautiful perfect meringue cakes in the pasticceria, the marble floors and fountains dotted all around the city, and the colour combinations of boats butting up against the walls along the canals.
