Travel in Colour; Stockholm

While thoughts of a Euro-summer typically conjures images of beaches in southern Italy, or drinking wine in Portugal, I’m a big fan of a summer city break - and even better if it means the city is quieter than normal. We spent a few days in Stockholm in July, making the most of the long nights and quiet(er) streets with most Swedes heading to their fritidshus or summer houses for a few weeks in July.

We bopped around to flea markets and antique stores, made the pilgrimage to Svenskt Tenn (my forever favourite thing to do in Stockholm!), took the ferry to the islands - still a novelty for public transport to be able to just sail from stop to stop!
